Top 10 Pizza Shop in St. Louis City, Missouri, US
We have delivered a rundown of the “Ten best Pizza Shop in St. Louis City” and names the best pizza in each state. Eateries in the St. Louis region assisted Missouri with making the main ten. Illinois positions much higher in the positioning at #4 yet Chicago and its rural areas are the home to a significant number of the top pizza joints.
That appears to be legit when you take a gander at the rundown. A considerable lot of the top pizzas embody a specific style like New York, Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, or St. Louis. Yet, the main two pies take the cake. They’re from New Jersey and Connecticut. The New York contiguous states appear to have an upper hand on the Big Apple. St. Louis-style pizza is the focal point of the magazine’s unmistakable Missouri notice. Imo’s is perceived as the most unmistakable with 100 Midwestern areas serving provel on a dainty outside layer. However, Faraci’s, Frank and Helen’s, Liliana’s Italian Kitchen, Melo’s Pizzeria, Union Loafers, and Noto Italian Restaurant are singled out as addressing the locale’s style.
Pizza is one of those food sources that everybody loves, except a few out of every odd pizza is great pizza. Fortunately, this isn’t true in St. Louis! Peruse our rundown to find the best Pizza Shop in St. Louis City.
1. Pizzeoli Wood Fired Pizza Shop in St. Louis City
Raven Claw: The food was all amazing and unique. they have 12 inch hand-tossed pizzas. Many kind of pizzas were the type you cannot find at other places they even had this fig Jam sauce on one of them they had organic soda where you could drink cream sherry and pina colada flavored soda and blood orange Mina and Yuna loved getting tiramisu cheesecake, and pumpkin swirl cheesecake. they would not share even one bite, so it must have been really good. The service was also top-rate! everybody was very helpful and cheerful to be around.
BuyWithBruch: Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was incredible, the ambience super fun, and the staff excellent. The service was awesome and the people incredibly friendly, fun, and helpful. Not to mention, if you like Tiramisu and Cheesecake, you have got to get that!!! Here The Best Pizza Shop in St. Louis City
2. Melo’s Pizzeria Pizza Shop in St. Louis City
Mike V: Got the “White Pie” to try something different and it was awesome! Got it with pepperoni and sweet peppers and my wife and I definitely thought it was one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had, and we do enjoy our pizza. Wish we would have been in town long enough to try the “Regular Pie” and been able to go inside to see St. Louis The King, though.
Megan Morrissey: I love this place so much. Best neopolitan pizza. We had a white pizza and added mushrooms. They have a little patio so you can enjoy your pizza outside.Great neighborhood pizza shop! Wish it was open more days of the week so I could eat here all the time.
David Chunn: Best pizza I’ve ever had in St. Louis. Quite possibly the top 3 best pizza I’ve ever had in my whole life.
Definitely glad I tried it and will be coming back very soon! Here The Best Pizza Shop in St. Louis City
3. Pi Pizzeria Pizza Shop in St. Louis City
Leah Lambart: Some of the best gluten free pizza I’ve had! The crust tasted great – not to tough or hard. My family had the thin crust. I wouldn’t call it a true thin crust, more of a regular crust. It was very good though! Lots of sauce and cheese which we like. The service was fast and efficient. Overall great meal and would definitely recommend. We walked over from the Arch which was about 15 minutes walk with kids.
Anthony: Delicious! No complaints! Veggies hit the spot with just a hint of spice! And pizza looked picture perfect and tasted even better!
Cameron Searcy: I must say, the deep dish style pie is filling. We ordered our two small pies and both had to get carry outs. This deep dish is serious. Also, have the wings and roasted veggies as apps…the spice on the wi gs is INTENSE! The staff was extremely friendly and so funny. Great family place and beyond courteous service. 4. Anthonino’s Taverna
Mr. R: This place has very delicious Italian dishes. The location has street parking with lots of availability nearby. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are more than enough for a person. The food was touted as some of the “best Italian food” they’ve had amongst my party. I don’t think they’re wrong. If you’re in town, go check them out and see for yourself.
Mary Jo Thompson: While in town visiting friends she suggested we eat here. The food did not disappoint! Large portions, delicious food, great service. My son even enjoyed trying something new~ the squid ink pasta!
Sally Sue Ember: Excellent staff, service, food! Very well-suited to my elderly mom and me for a lunch at 11 which provided enough food for 2 more meals for her and 1gries with more for me!
She got the cheesy garlic bread instead of the ordinary bread for the chicken parmesan sandwich, and all her special requests were gracefully honored: fries with low salt, extra crispy; garlic bread solo; chicken with ricotta beneath and arugula and sauce on top, next to the bread. Great flavors, but she would like the bread a bit more toasted (will do, at home, and next time)……………………..
5. Sauce on the Side
BESTOFYOU17: So delicious! They don’t skimp on the fillings and the sauce adds an important element to the dish. The curbside pickup was so easy. We’ll be back soon!
Richard J. Vargo: Despite being in St. Louis for years, this was my first time trying Sauce on the Side. Moreover, I have eaten very few calzones in my life. It was a mistake to wait this long on both.
I ordered the Meat Me in St. Louie. It was excellent. The outside was cooked perfectly and had a nice crisp. The pepperoni and Italian sausage were pretty well distributed throughout the calzone and not just concentrated in one area. The meat was flavorful and not too salty. I really enjoyed the PROVEL cheese, and I could definitely taste it. The PROVEL cheese, Mascarpone-Ricotta Blend, and Garlic Oil gave the calzone a ton of flavor and complemented the meat perfectly. The meat sauce was also excellent and was not watery………..
6. Twin Oak Wood Fired Pizza & BBQ
Cody Arnold: Pizza was great, staff was very attentive and the oven is visible from the bar so it was neat to watch the kitchen staff rip out pizza after pizza.
Michael Proctor: Place was top notch….I read some of the negative reviews below and they are out of their minds. Waitress was amazing….owner Adam was amazing….the food was fantastic… restaurant was clean and modern but did not make u feel like u were out of place and this is coming from an old country boy…. looking forward to coming back next time around. 🤙🤙🤙🤙
UCant Run: I wish I could give Twin Oak 10 stars. We were served by Adam, one of the owners, today. He asked us if we’d be there before, in which we replied, “Yes once.” Adam said welcome back. I’ve never had such great service at a restaurant. Please if you’re in the area go by and grab some BBQ or a pizza. Everything we’ve had there has been amazing!! Thank you so much Adam. Jacob Holmes: They have the best New York style pizza in the area. Hands down! Their simple menu is great! Just PIZZA! Be prepared and make sure to bring cash, or check. No credit cards. We eat here at least once every 2 weeks and they never disappoint. To the staff: thank you!
Ashley Garvey: What a little hidden gem! I moved to the neighborhood last year and I’m mad I didn’t discover this place sooner! The pizzas are tasty and affordable, and a large is more than enough for two to share. This is definitely a go-to spot for me when ordering in.
Maria Ashby: Great for families. My kiddos were loud and the staff took us in stride! Yummy crust. Loved the cheese pie. Didn’t love the veggie pie. Maybe that’s my own fault. The prices are great but it’s cash or check only. Everyone who had the sausage and pepperoni pie loved it. It’s not gourmet but it was great for our family. Only pizza and soda is on the menu so it’s easy to stay on budget and not have the kids ask for 100 things! Also nice to have an alcohol free place to go. There is an ATM at the dank dark dive bar across the street. OH! It was SO NICE AND CLEAN and you get to watch them toss the pies! Here The Best Pizza Shop in St. Louis City
8. Pie Guy Pizza Shop in St. Louis City
Jato Dawg13: Want to try some New York style pizza, without having to fly to New York, then Pie Guys pizza is the place! You can get a slice or a whole at a great price, and while your pizza, have a good beer at the Tap House next door! The service was amazing and very informative. They especially went above and beyond, when it started raining really hard, they brought the pizza to us while we waited in the vehicle. The smell on the drive home from the pizza was beyond mouthwatering, once we got home, we immediately dug in. The crust was the most notable part with it being slightly crunchy on the outside and well cooked throughout! The ingredients were fresh and plentiful as well, you can easily taste each one with every bite! We could not finish the whole pie and were completely full! Definitely going to be going back for more!
Tracy Smith: I did a mobile order carryout for a slice of pizza & garlic knots. The pizza slice is not small, was the right amount of toppings, flavor & a thin & crispy crust. Garlic knots lived up to its name. Robust flavor. Unfortunately the food didn’t make the photo-op. The scent lured me in a foodie trance when I opened the containers. Next time, I’ll remember to capture a foodie photo before eating. Price is worth every bite 4.3.21 foodie photos on 2nd visit.
9. PW Pizza Shop in St. Louis City
Andrea: Amazing! Quiet Sunday evening, the food was amazing, the service was amazing, the server Kristina was amazing.
One of my favorite parts about dining out is when the server has an opinion about the food and is willing to offer recommendations. Kristina was helpful when we asked questions about the various parts of the menu and checked back frequently between each item we ordered.
We had the meatball appetizer, spinach salad and a 1//2 and 1/2 pizza. Half wolf and half shrimp shrimp bang bang. The best pizza I have had in a long time, highly recommended! Since we were visiting St Louis for the first time, we had to try the Gooey Butter cake, delicious, not too sweet, great flavor!
Lessie Johnson: Was visiting from Indiana and Chicago. The service was wonderful. Very polite and attentive employees. The atmosphere was inviting and nice. Here The Best Pizza Shop in St. Louis City
10. Black Thorn Pub
Graham Spell: A St. Louisan told me this was the best deep dish pizza restaurant in STL and I gotta say, they weren’t wrong. It was DELICIOUS. But heads up… it takes a minimum of 45 minutes for them to cook your pizza and if it’s busy, even long so plan accordingly. It seems the pro move was to order it before you even get to the restaurant so you don’t have to wait as long. But worth the wait that we suffer through with two toddlers.
Shea F: Wowza. Really filling, obviously. First timer and not disappointed. I was too hungry when the garlic cheese bread came so didn’t take a photo but we got the small and it looked a little like a cheese pizza. Amazing bread. The pizza: sauce is different but I loved it. Partner thought it was okay but he likes dominos so you can judge his pizza tastes 🙃 we ordered a large sausage and pepperoni pizza and couldn’t even finish one piece each so we have 6 leftover. Very informal place but I’ve been wanting to try it for years. Simple menu and you order at the bar. Will definitely return as I love Tower Grove. Thanks for an amazing time and great meal!
